Rolex Submariner 16613 Black Dial Two-Tone Oyster Steel Buckle Watch

The Rolex Submariner 16613 is the two-tone Rolesor execution of the 40 mm Submariner Date, combining an 18K yellow gold bezel and crown guards with a stainless steel Oyster case. The black dial carries applied gold hour markers and the Mercedes hands finished in gold, creating strong contrast against the black aluminum unidirectional rotating bezel insert.

The 16613 ran from 1988 to 2008, before the current 116613LN replaced it with a ceramic bezel. Two-tone Rolesor sits between the all-steel Sub and a full gold reference — formal enough for business, robust enough for daily wear. The Oyster bracelet is fitted here with a steel buckle rather than the Oysterlock deployant clasp used on later references.
